Poetry Challenge 2017

We are proud to have held our 2017 Poetry Challenge where each class has been learning to recite their poem off by heart.

It was a terrific event and all the children performed absolutely brilliantly. Many thanks go to our three independent judges for having the difficult task of deciding the winner. Congratulations to all of the children involved and to Year 1 for coming first with their poem ‘Saw my teacher on a Saturday’ by Dave Crawley.

There was even a bonus poem performed by some of the staff called 'Cakes in the Staffroom.'
