St Paul's RC Primary School “the missing piece of your child's education” ‘We are the family of God’

Seeds and Gardeners meet

With the children moving into Year 6, a lot more responsibility rests on their shoulders. Being the top class in school, they are now expected to set an example to the remaining children at St. Paul's by demonstrating exemplary behaviour, manners and attitude to work and worship.  The Year 6 also undertake the 'Seeds and Gardeners' programme, where each pupil is paired up with a new child from reception class.  The aim is to give the new children a point of contact and make them feel safe by seeing a friendly face on the playground and around school.  During the year, Seeds and Gardeners undertake a variety of activities together and will be in regular contact when being given the opportunity to read together.
Year 6 will be performing their Production in the School Hall on Wednesday 19th July at 2pm and 6pm. The Teddy Bears Picnic was a great success on Thursday, the new Reception children enjoyed showing the current Reception class their cuddly toys. Congratulations to the Primary Engineers who came North West Runner Up with team Atom's moon buggy, on Wednesday 12th June.
