St Paul's RC Primary School “the missing piece of your child's education” ‘We are the family of God’

Smithills Open Farm

Reception really enjoyed their trip to Smithills Open Farm, everyone had a fantastic memorable day. The children went for a bumpy ride on the tractor and a gentle ride on the donkeys. They got to feed the deer and lambs and especially enjoyed holding  the smaller baby animals including chicks, rabbits, owlet and a baby donkey. The children were even brave enough to stroke a giant snake! Finally we watched the cows being milked by a robot and learnt about how the milk got to the supermarket.
Year 6 will be performing their Production in the School Hall on Wednesday 19th July at 2pm and 6pm. The Teddy Bears Picnic was a great success on Thursday, the new Reception children enjoyed showing the current Reception class their cuddly toys. Congratulations to the Primary Engineers who came North West Runner Up with team Atom's moon buggy, on Wednesday 12th June.
