In this topic we focused on the World's Oceans.   We looked at how animals and plants are adapted for life in our seas and oceans, as well as looking at how the 19th Century ocean exploration has improved our understanding of these bio-diverse habitats. We also looked at the water cycle and how rivers are formed.

Our topic for Science this half term was classification of animals and plants.

In class we researched how submarines work. We then created our own model submarines using straws. We looked at how squeezing the bottle made the submarine dive and relaxing the bottle made it float again. We then investigated added salt to the water.
