St. Paul's R.C. Primary School As God's family we aspire to love, grow, learn and achieve beyond our dreams

21st and 22nd October

Hello and welcome to our online learning platform

Please find below the outline of our learning for Wednesday and Thursday of this week. As Friday is an INSET Day, there will be no set learning for that day or for next week, which is half term. There are resources in the Phonics Screening section if you would like to do some extra work to support your child with phonics.

Myself or Miss Halleron will be available between 8:40am and 4pm via the y2teachers@stpaulsfeniscowles.blackburn.sch.uk email account for any questions, worries or anything at all that you would like to share with us. If your child does any work at home that you would like us to see or receive feedback on, please take a photo and email it in to us.

Please be reassured that the scheduled parents evening appointments for this week will still go ahead as planned.

By tomorrow lunch time, you should have received an invitation to Microsoft Teams ready for a trial virtual  lesson, please let the office or Miss Halleron know on the class email if you have not received this and we can work together on solving the issue.

Remember, this. is new to us all and we are all learning to adapt to this new way of temporary teaching. There will be bumps along the way but do not worry, we will learn from our mistakes/mishaps! We also understand that some of you will now be working from home and trying to juggle work and school, so please just try your best, that is all you can do. heart

Thank you all for your continued support.

After half term, we will be learning about the Sacrament of Baptism.

I would like you to talk with your mummies and daddies about your Baptism. Ask them :

What happened at your Baptism?

Where were you baptised?

What did you wear?

Who are your godparents and why were they chosen for this special job?

I would like to share some of the photos of your Baptisms on a class display. As we are not allowed to bring things in from home at the moment, you could ask a grown up to email me a copy of your Baptismal photo so that I can print it out for our display.

If your child or a member of your family goes for a Covid test, please inform the Office as soon as possible and then advise them of the results, negative or positive, as soon as you receive them. If you receive the results over the weekend, please email safeguarding@stpaulsfeniscowles.blackburn.sch.uk. Thank you.
