Science Week 2016

This week the children took part in Science Week. We began on Monday with an assembly where Mr Duckworth introduced the science theme 'Weird and Wonderful Water'. Thoughout the week children took part in lots of different experiments including, 'the perfect sandcastle', 'making bubbles', 'natural indicator', 'how much water can a 2 pence hold?'On Wednesday they were encouraged to come to school dressed in something relating to science. What fantastic costumes! We finished the week with another assembly where we shared what we had learnt and the winners of the best science costume were judged by Miss Austin.
