St. Paul's R.C. Primary School As God's family we aspire to love, grow, learn and achieve beyond our dreams

Welcome to EYFS Home Learning smiley

Dear parents/carers and children,

As next week is Holy Week, we hope that you find some time for prayer and reflection.

The resources below will help.   Wishing you a very happy and Holy Easter!

Love, Mrs Cowell

Below are all the details for home learning the week commencing....

(For other areas of learning see the home learning folders, please check purple mash daily for phonics activities and continue to read home readers or your own books and sign reading diaries each day)

Remember, in the Early Years, learning through play and experience is vital so craft, bake, play games, chat to each other and enjoy spending time together. You can include Maths and English through play. Write down the numbers they have counted, talk about the different times of the day, ask the children to write a sentence about their day. You can link it all! Have lots of fun with your children heart

If you need to contact me regarding your child’s home learning, please email me at and write FAO Mrs Cowell in the subject box.

Thank you for supporting your child at home,

please stay positive and safe,

Mrs Cowell

Wonderful Home Learning from the EYFS children!

Welcome to our EYFS class

Welcome to the EYFS class page smiley on here you will find information about our topics and ways you can help at home.

My name is Mrs Cowell, I am the class teacher and I have taught at St. Paul's for over 10 years. I have two little boys, one who is in Year 1 at a school near to where we live in Preston and the other has just started in the toddler room at nursery. We spend most weekends out and about, at the park or playing in the garden!

Mrs Hunt is our wonderful teaching assistant. She is incredibly artistic and loves to think up exciting classroom activities.

Also responsible for learning in EYFS are Miss Austin and Mrs Bailey, who will be joining us in the afternoons over the week.
