Welcome to Year 5
Welcome to Class Five. Class Five are taught by Mrs Taylor (Monday morning, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday) and Mrs Kershaw (Friday). Miss Sharrocks and Miss Austin support the class every morning.
This half term children will be looking at "The Tudors", where they will learn about the Kings and Queens and life in Tudor England. We are writing Biographies in English. In Maths we are learning about fractions, decimals and percentages and solving problems linked to these.
Spellings will be given out every half term and tested on a Wednesday.
Maths homework will be given out on a Tuesday and needs to be returned the following Tuesday. English homework is given out and returned on Fridays.
On Friday 17th November 2017, Year 5 performed a wonderful assembly about Ancient Egypt and the story of Joseph. Please see photos below.
