Hello and a warm welcome to our Art and Design / Design Technology (DT) subject page.
I'm Mrs Tagari and the lead teacher for these two creative subjects at St Paul's.
This aim of this page is to give you an insight into some of the amazing learning that happens at our school, whilst offering you all at home some creative ideas to get stuck into.
I absolutely love art, designing things, and having a go at making something with a solution. I find it extremely satisfying to get my own unique ideas down on paper. I can think of nothing more relaxing and fun than getting some paper and having fun with pencils, paint and craft projects. Our children at St Paul's would certainly agree.
This year in school we have had a plethora of creative works and discovered many budding artists and designers with amazing talent for the creative subjects. from Reception to our oldest children in Year 6.
In EYFS and KS1, We have had fun with bubble art and the mud kitchen, had a 'King and Queens' tea party, and designed and made clay castle sculptures.
In KS2, we have been busy in the school kitchens with making Spanish foods, creating our own bedtime night lights, creating our own bread, and making Anderson shelters and stunning 'ice' sculptures.
Below are our individual class pages which will showcase the amazing work your children produce at school.
I am SO proud of the work. I'm sure you will agree these pieces of work are amazing.
