Outreach, Charity and CARITAS Ambassadors
Outreach in Our Catholic Community ✝️
At St. Paul’s, outreach is an essential part of living out our faith. Inspired by the teachings of Jesus and guided by Catholic Social Teaching, we believe that faith is not only something to be celebrated in church and school but also shared through action, kindness, and service to others.
Living Out the Gospel
We encourage our pupils to follow Jesus’ example by reaching out to those in need, both locally and globally. Through acts of service, prayer, and charity, children learn that their actions can make a real difference in the lives of others.
Supporting Our Local Community
Our school works closely with the parish and wider community to support those in need. Each class partners with a local charity, and pupils take part in fundraising events, food bank collections, and seasonal appeals. Our Caritas Ambassadors and Chaplaincy Team help lead these initiatives, ensuring that outreach is a shared mission across the school.
Global Awareness and Action
Our outreach extends beyond our local area. Pupils learn about global issues such as poverty, injustice, and care for creation, and they take part in campaigns and appeals to support those facing hardship around the world. This helps them to grow in compassion and understand their role as part of a global Church family.
Faith in Action
Outreach at St. Paul’s is more than charity—it is about living our faith every day. Through these opportunities, pupils learn to see the face of Christ in others, develop a sense of responsibility for God’s world, and grow as active, caring members of society.
