Year 3 Sacramental Programme – Reconciliation & Holy Communion ✝️

In Year 3, our children take a very special step on their faith journey as they prepare to receive the Sacraments of Reconciliation and Holy Communion for the first time.

Through our parish and school partnership, the children will:

• Learn about God’s endless love and forgiveness.

• Prepare their hearts to say sorry and receive God’s mercy in Reconciliation.

• Deepen their understanding of the Mass and the importance of the Eucharist.

• Celebrate receiving Jesus in Holy Communion surrounded by their families and parish community.

The programme is supported by our catechist, Mrs Hall, who work closely with the children and their families throughout their preparation. More information will be shared with families in early 2026. Preparation sessions usually begin after Easter, and First Holy Communion normally takes place in June at the Priory.

We ask our whole school community to keep these children in their prayers as they grow in faith and take this important step in their spiritual journey.
